Actually, it's essential for anyone who just likes good games. It's a must-have for fans of the Rick and Morty series, or of the Pokemon video games. ![]() Pocket Mortys is an outstanding RPG and a perfect example of what a 'free to play' game should be. As your Mortys engage in combat and earn experience, they level up and grow. Thankfully, weve whittled the process down in to a quick two minute video for you. Youll need: A fleeb, turbulent juice, some level up seeds, a couple of Meeseeks boxes, and a bit of time on your hands. Almost all of them have fun independent animations. The One True Morty is the rarest of them all, and how to find him requires a bit of patience. Aside from the initial one (your beloved and pathetic hero), you can find alien Mortys, robot Mortys, cat Mortys, muscle Mortys, etc. Overall, there are more than 70 different Mortys. The gameplay is pretty intuitive: Rock-type Mortys are stronger against scissor-types, and these are stronger against paper-types, which in turn are strong against the rock-types. This means it's a turn-based system that lets you use different Mortys with different kinds of abilities. The combat system in Pocket Mortys is just like in Pokemon (they even look similar). ![]() Of course, to capture a Morty you first have to fight aginst it and weaken it. You need to daze an opponent's entire team to win a fight. Attacks cost AP, and you'll need to top that up once it's run out. The battles are turn-based, and you can switch between Mortys on the fly. Here, you play Rick, who has to capture all the Mortys in different parallel universes. You collect new Mortys by capturing them in the wild or by using the gacha-style machines scattered around the world. Pocket Mortys is a role-playing game that's obviously inspired by Pokemon.
